EDIT UPDATE: THIS WAS FOR BUBBA BIG BITES NOT THE RESTAURANT CURRENTLY AT THE LOCATION. A bit off the highway, but we’ll worth it. The reviews looked really good so we had to try this spot for lunch. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Small eat in spot —about 8 tables and 20 people. It was quite busy. Sandwiches are gigantic with lots of meat in the Reuben. Choice if wedges, tots, coleslaw, cup of soup or potato salad. Partner had the Oinky BLT ( pulled pork) and we could barely finish them. Definitely check this place out. UPDATE: this review was for Bubba Big Bites which is no longer at this location. The new franchise shouldn’t be able to take over review results for the former restaurant.
New to Chilliwack, we stopped here today, and so glad we did. Fantastic friendly service , nice atmosphere, everything was made fresh. It took 20 mins to make, but so so worth it, no fast food here. Generous portions too. I had the Reuben, and it was tasty and satisfying. Definitely going to make this a regular place!
Usually get the medium 2 topping pick-up deal. Super tasty, quick to order, and consistent every time. Highly recommend
This was our second visit. The food is homemade, made from scratch and portions generous. The cheeseburger soup IS. TO. DIE. FOR! They are both so friendly and really accommodating when it comes to dietary modifications. I just can't believe that my husband and I hadn't discovered Bubba's Big Bites sooner! We will be back!
After seeing some photos online of their sandwiches. I had to give it a try. Besides the generous sized sandwiches, the taste did not disappoint. I had their soup of the day which was cream of potato and a smoked meat melt. For the price of their sandwiches, no reason to go fastfood. I would definitely come back here again.
To say the food was amazing would be an understatement. The Oinker is pure delight with a ton of meat and enough bread to hold it all. The sheer amount of food you get for the price is a fantastic, and will serve as a second meal for me. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the 'mom & pop shop' vibe is strong. If you're in the area, you'd be a fool to not stop by. Also, they have a frequent buyer card!
Read the reviews, wanted to try it out. So very pleasurably unexpected! The sandwiches take a while to make but yep, good things come to those who wait. The sandwiches are American sized, but filled with really good local ingredients. Still mouthwatering just thinking about our last visit. Ended up having it for 2 meals, it was so filling. I loved loved the sandwiches, and the people are very sweet:-)
Fantastic food and friendly people. We had soup and a few sandwiches between our group, and everything was most excellent. I just wish I lived closer to be able to visit more often. Update (Sept 10,2022). Years later and this place is still just as awesome as before. 2 person operation that runs smoothly and with a friendly nature and passion that shines through in their food. Try it! You'll love it!
